The First taste
There’s plenty of information to read up on, not just in this website but across the entire FirstGroup site. But nothing can beat actually experiencing our culture, our people and the fantastic opportunities available, as one of our Interns.
We invite Interns to join us for around 8 to 12 weeks in the summer months. If they enjoy it, and we're impressed, we'll encourage many of them to apply during the next intake of graduates. This typically happens during the following autumn.
You'll have a rare chance to immerse yourself in everyday life at First. You'll see how things are run, the kind of projects we're involved in, how our graduates will eventually have an immense role to play. We'll treat you as another member of the team and truly value your ideas and contribution. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in various projects across our bus and rail divisions.
